This is a Korean celebrities crossover with Avatar characters. Not a culturally/ethnically accurate portrayal.

This is what happens when an Avatar fan is also a kpop/kdrama fan. ^___^
It's been nearly half a year since my KpopKdrama crossover as Legend of Korra characters and I've been dying to do the AtLA series.

For this series, the characters will be released in order of their appearance in the show (except for zuko, he's my bias and will be reserved for the end).

OUR BELOVED AVATAR AANG HAS GROWN UP!
For the main gaang, i wanted them in their older gaang outfits that Mike&Bryan did. -> images6.fanpop.com/image/photo…
Aang is played by Korean actor & singer Lee Seung Gi, starred in "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho", "The King 2 Hearts", and "Gu Family Book".

It was a tough debate between MBLAQ's Lee Joon, MBLAQ's G.O., and Lee Seunggi.
G.O. was on the list of choices because he's the only Korean celebrity that promoted with facial hair who was also young.
Lee Joon because he was the only known Korean young celebrity that had his head shaved.
Lee Seunggi because something about him felt like Aang.

Why did i end up with Lee Seunggi? Couple of reasons.
1) i was watching his latest drama "Gu Family Book" and his character Kangchi is kinda bubbly but responsible like Aang.
2) i kept looking back and forth between the official older gaang pic and Lee Seunggi's eyes looked a bit like Aang's.
3) Lee Seunggi seemed like a great person to play Aang. Most of the characters he plays start off as playful young men who lacked a sense of responsibility until something happens to them and immediately turns into men who save the world. <- very true in "The King 2 Hearts"
4) THE KILLER SMILE! in the older gaang pic, that smile! Lee Seunggi made it real.

I'M SORRY MY DEAR LEE SEUNG GI! I'VE MADE YOU BALD! u look weird without ur full head of hair.....*teartear*
