This is a Korean celebrities crossover with Avatar characters. Not a culturally/ethnically accurate portrayal.

This is what happens when an Avatar fan is also a kpop/kdrama fan. ^___^
While and after i created Jang Geun Suk as Tahno, i wanted to make more Korean actor/singer castings for Legend of Korra characters.

may i present to you all....YOUR AVATAR!

For Korra, i chose Korean actress Ha Ji Won (notable for "Secret Garden", "The King 2 Hearts", "Hwang Jin Yi")

Originally when i imagined Korra, i wanted 2NE1's CL to play her because they both have the fierceness and the leadership edge. Problem was when i looked up the pix, i couldn't see it. So i rethought it. Who else is strong yet easily able to break down?

Ha Ji Won's characters in "Secret Garden" and "The King 2 Hearts" really made me choose her.
First off, Ha Ji Won is my most favorite Korean actress. Most of the characters she plays have very strong personalities and it isn't later on in the stories do you realize that those characters aren't as strong as they appear, that they (like all humans) have a weakness. Ha Ji Won also had the adorable Korra look. I can just see it. Her other facial expressions seem to scream "I'm Korra damnit!"

[side tidbit:] my mom saw me paint this a few times and every time she thinks i'm drawing myself as Korra played by Ha Ji Won. Do i really look like Ha Ji Won?
